After a day on the slopes or out around the village, we invite you to come down and enjoy the generous and authentic cooking of our Taverne d’Alsace.
Just like the Kandahar, the Taverne d’Alsace welcomes you in a very convivial and relaxed atmosphere. French classics meet Alsacian and regional dishes to please every palate. No less eclectic and varied, our wine list offers treasures from all regions of France. Take a seat around one of our wooden tables and enjoy a typical apéritif from Alsace. Snack on a crispy « Tarte Flambée » while sipping on a cool white wine such as flowery Muscat, a spicy Gewurztraminer or a sparkling Crémant. Then, choose a dish from one of our alsacian classics or choose one of our specials like the surprising “Hot&Cold Filet of Beef” or the creamy “Scallops Risotto”.
The comfort of wood, the authenticity of our cooking and the quality of our friendly service will join together to provide a memorable dining experience.
At the head of our kitchen for over 25 years, Michel Wehrung acquired his skills in Strasbourg. His love for his native Alsace is evident in our Menu : Tarte Flambée, Salade Strasbourgeoise, Alsacian style Snails, Choucroute Royale, Home-Made Meatloaf or Baeckeoffe…
Throughout the years, he has also shown a constant desire to bring new tastes to the Taverne’s table.
